What I'm Doing Now

Updated May 2026 · Maryland

Work

Building out my professional portfolio and actively pursuing the next role in communications — focused on organizations where the work is serious and the margin for error is low.

Open to corporate communications, PR agency, investor relations, and executive communications roles. Also genuinely curious about adjacent paths — pharmaceutical, defense, intelligence, venture — where communications experience combined with research instincts is actually useful.

Learning

Getting deeper into real estate. Not just as a license — as an industry with its own communications dynamics, high-stakes negotiations, and relationship-driven deal flow. Exploring what that looks like as a parallel path or eventual pivot.

Following pharmaceutical and biotech communications closely. The regulatory environment, the FDA clearance process, the clinical language — I already know this world from Exactech and UF Health. I want to know it better.

Thinking About

The gap between communications execution and communications strategy — and why most organizations conflate them. One is tactical. The other is structural. The best work I've done sits at the intersection, and I'm thinking about how to articulate that clearly.

How misinformation research applies to brand narrative management. Not academically — practically. What it means to build a public narrative when you understand how false ones propagate.

Outside of Work

Recently relocated to Maryland. Still figuring out the geography.

Needlepoint, crochet, exercise. Obsessive about the things I love — always have been.

Watching Nautique Co. development unfold with interest. Filed that one away.

This is a Now page— a snapshot of what I'm focused on at this moment in time, not a resume.
